This Cookie Policy explains how Verten ("Verten", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Verten job marketplace (the "Platform"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as local storage and pixels — work in comparable ways. They help websites function, remember your preferences, and understand how they are used.

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary: required for the Platform to work, including authentication and session cookies that keep you securely signed in. Our sign-in and session management are provided through Supabase; these cookies cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality.

Preferences: remember choices you make, such as language and display settings, to personalize your experience.

Analytics: help us understand how the Platform is used — for example, which pages are visited — so we can improve performance and usability. These are used in aggregate and do not identify you personally. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies may be set by the third-party services we rely on to operate the Platform, such as our payment and infrastructure providers. Their use of cookies is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.

4. Your Choices & Managing Cookies

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies; your choice is remembered and applied to future visits. You can change it at any time by clearing the "ga-consent" cookie in your browser settings, which brings the banner back.

Most browsers also let you view, block, or delete cookies directly through their settings, and you can set your browser to alert you when a cookie is being placed. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the Platform.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
