Verten is committed to making its job marketplace (the "Platform") accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We believe that finding work and hiring talent should be open to everyone, and we work to remove barriers to the use of our products.

1. Our Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These internationally recognized guidelines help make web content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with a wide range of abilities.

2. AODA Commitment

As an organization operating in Ontario, Canada, we are committed to meeting our obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards. We consider accessibility throughout the design and development of the Platform.

3. What We Do

Our design system is built to support accessible experiences, including: mobile-first layouts that work from small screens upward; sufficient colour contrast and clear typography; keyboard-navigable interfaces; descriptive labels and alternative text; and bilingual English and French content. We continue to test and refine these areas as the Platform evolves.

4. Ongoing Work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some areas of the Platform may not yet fully meet our target standard, and we are actively working to identify and address barriers. We welcome feedback that helps us improve.

5. Feedback & Accommodations

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or if you need information in an alternative format or an accommodation to use the Platform, please contact us at support@verten.ca. Please tell us the page or feature involved and the difficulty you experienced so we can respond effectively. We aim to reply within a reasonable timeframe.
